Kansas City police have released the 911 calls from the day Kansas City Chiefs player Jovan Belcher murdered his girlfriend Kasandra Perkins, then later committed suicide.Belcher’s mother, Cheryl Shepherd, can be heard screaming frantically for the 911 operators to send an ambulance.
“Please don’t die Kassie,” the mother pleads. “She’s still breathing but barely. I don’t know how many times he shot her, they were arguing. Kasandra stay with me. The ambulance is on it’s way, you hear me?”
The 25-year old Belcher reportedly kissed Perkins on the forehead and apologized to his mother before fleeing to Arrowhead Stadium where he killed himself on Saturday December 1st..
