Depressed FNL The most depressing day of the year, which has been dubbed Blue Monday, falls on Jan. 21, 2013 this year, but do you really have anything to worry about? Probably not. That’s because Blue Monday started as a marketing campaign, according to Yahoo! News.

Yes, it’s impressive that people are still talking about the most depressing day of the year even though it began in 2005 ” . . . when UK psychologist Cliff Arnall created an elaborate mathematical formula to calculate the most miserable day of the year,” on behalf of a company called Sky Travel. Several companies by that name still exist, but none of them seem to make reference to this fabricated holiday.
